Boy Meets Sandwich

Image
Bryce now eats sandwiches like a big boy. As you can see he is enjoying his turkey and cheese. I can't believe how quickly we went from pureed foods to sandwiches ! Mastering the juice box has been a little more challenging. Bryce likes to squeeze it all over his tray and himself. " Hmmm ..does this have high fructose corn syrup in it? Those corn people are full of it..I know artificial flavoring is bad for me." (Have you seen those commercials for high fructose corn syrup? Its okay in moderation, my ass, its in everything, how can we be "moderate" about it?)

Family Reunion

Image
Hey Grama and Grampa! We's the Grandkids. Good looking bunch a rugrats if I do say so myself. So the Family Reunion was held somewhere in Baldwinsville. Home of all three Baldwin brothers, yes, it's true. Syracuse has been the site of many Kim Basinger sightings. There was this awesome hill there that was very Teletubby-esque. It made you want to roll down it and eat Tubby Toast and Tubby Custard (or as they said it Tubby Tustard!). I think it used to be a ski hill. It would be awesome for sledding except for the lake at the bottom. Although it would probably freeze in the winter....Hmmmm Each Reunion they take a picture of the oldest and youngest Waldron. Back in 97 or 98 it was Austyn and Uncle _____. (Dad, help me out here). This year it was Bryce and Aunt Jean. There's a better picture from the Fulton Times, but as i said, i need to get that off Hotmail. Hey, There's Aunt Alisa and family! I told you we would hook up with them later. There's the

Great Green North

After the beach and giving Austyn a day to recover from her fever and getting to sleep in our own bed (sooooo good), it was pack up the family, stuff the clothes we just washed back in the bags and head up north to Syracuse and the Waldron Clan. We had to rush because the Family reunion was the next day and Austyn and I hadn't been able to go to one for about ten years as it was usually held the weekend after July 4, and i was always working. They changed it this year and i figured "What the heck, time to introduce Kim and Bryce to the clan". More on that later. I have to figure out how to get the pictures from Hotmail. Grampa, what is all this green stuff on your yard? Our yard is all sticks and dirt. Where the sticks? Where the dirt? I blinded by all this green. Aunt Jen and Olivia checked out the green as well. We haven't seen them for a while as Uncle Taylor had been living at the hospital. We're very glad that he is better and we can see him (them).

Bye Bye Beach

Image
Alas, all good things must come to an end. Austyn doesn't look like it, but she had a 101 degree fever in this picture. Bye to Grandma and Granddaddy..... Bye to the fireplace... And Bye to the beach. We'll be back soon. Hopefully in September.

Back to August

Greetings from the sand. Lest we forget that visits to the beach entail more than just splashing, eating sand and burying our sister, we also got to visit with Grandma and Granddaddy Hood. Here the boy shows his Grandma all about shapes and colors. There was also much sitting on the fireplace as well as ... Sitting on Molly. She was a good sport as usual. Gotta love summer. Oh for those days where all you needed to wear was a diaper. Them was the good old days fer sure. Austyn and Molly obviously didn't get the memo that it was a white diaper affair.

Filler Blog

I tried to put a video in here but Blogger was having issues. Instead, please enjoy these pictures of Bryce playing in the sand. His favorite spot was where another beachgoer dug a hole for a castle and the tide rose to wipe it out. It made a nice little puddle for him to sit in.

Life's a Beach

So, Jump forward to August. Our first vacation was back to the beach, and this time we were able to bring Austyn. Last June when we went she was in Puerto Rico with her mom. Yes, it's a rough life. Bryce still loves the beach. Grandma Waldron says it's in his blood. we had perfect weather, but the sand was really hot. We enjoy the surfline. Nice cool sand that doesn't hurt our feet. Fills up our crotch with sand, but that's the price you pay. A walking boy is a good thing. Austyn loved playing with him in the sand and the waves. I dig, therefore I am. I eat sand, therefore I crunch when I chew. I drink salt water, therefore I get diarhea. Hey, who let the papparazzi in here? I thought that this was a private beach. We're just trying to have a nice quiet vacation..... I don't care if People magazine is paying top dollar. Leave us alone! No Daddy! Stop the madness! You can't just bury Sissy here! I love her! I know that she is a pre-Teen, but

I'm really a fungi!

What is that boy doing? AFHV here we come!

We apologize to all friends and family for not posting any vacation photos yet. We've been back at school for two weeks or so and by the time we get back, deal with Cheerleading practices, get dinner for two ravenous kids and get said kids to bed, We're just pooped and haven't had any energy for any blogging. Life in the new millennium I suppose. Boo Hoo Hoo, we are too tired to blog...... Plus, the boy is just too fast. we can't seem to get the camera out quick enough when he's doing cute stuff. And Austyn is busy being little miss popularity. She's never here and when she is she's on the computer IMing people. Anywhoo , we did manage to catch the boy doing something cute. Stay with it. it gets good at the end. the camera actually ran out of batteries or you could have seen and heard more. It's his favorite new game. Daddy's belly is a bit too hairy, but he has done it on my shoulder and upper arm. enjoy. It's a bit dark, but turn
