Dancin with Bob

Bob has universal appeal. Here Bryce liveleys up himself. Obviously we need to work on our jumping skills. He dove headfirst off the couch the other day. Luckily Daddy was there to cushion his fall.

Oooo, Rusty's first attempt at editing a video.

Will it work? Lets see. A little bird told me how to make and edit a video. Plus I'm adding music. cool.

Playin in the sand.

Since it was off season, there were lots of good shells to pick through. This picture was supposed to be at the end. This was after playing on the beach for an hour or so. It's tiring being a little boy. Mama. this shovel not work quite as well as i want it to. I go steal from that little girl again. It was a bit windy, but nice. we were all comfortable in our fleece. wonder material, that fleece. Who knew milkjugs could make such nice, warm clothing. Love the little jeans rolled up.

Back to the Beach. So we're our of timeline a bit.

So Day 2 dawned bright, sunny, but still a bit cool. We walked down the boardwalk and found a nice spot on the beach to play again. Dig the dragon kite in the sky. Bryce stole this shovel from a little girl who was taking a nap with her grandparents. He gave it back eventually. Ocean view. Very sparkly. I like walking in sand. Squish between my toes. Dig my mad squatting skills. This is good spot Mama. Lets stop here. Daddy is tired of pushing me through the sand. Trails in sand by One Hung Low. Sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky. I think we walked about 30 blocks. We parked at the northern most end of the boardwalk and walked almost all the way to the ferris wheel. This is our ocean view again. Very pretty in the morning. These guys were fishing.

Autumn fun

Bryce and I had the day off for Veteran's Day, so we went out to play in the leaves. The smaller of our trees decided to drop all it's leaves in one weekend, which is nice. Bryce picked up the whole walking through the leaves without any prompting. wow. I just used the word prompting. What, Am i writing an IEP for him? Bryce will walk through piles of leaves with faded adult prompting on two out of three opportunities across a one day period. Dork. Crunch crunch crunch. Daddy, is too many leaves. I overwhelmed. Get butt over here and help me. (He actually did look at me and say "Help")

Happy Halloween

Sorry, we forgot the camera at work over the Halloween weekend. Bryce really enjoyed the trick or treating (all 5 houses on our court that were participating) and especially enjoyed handing out the candy when we got home. Austyn went with friends and was very happy to be grown up and independent (even though Daddy followed her secretly from a distance for the first half hour or so). Enjoy the pictures!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to Ocean City we go!

Hmmmm. Shovel shaped like shell. What a novel concept. Hey, Grandma and Grampa Waldron, do you recognize the pyramid shaped hotel in background? Seems to me that Sis would like to walk down from the top floor if given a chance. Small battling crabs. Can't we all just get along? Why is there so much violence in the world? Actually they were several feet away from each other and Daddy put them together and they started fighting. Oh the humanity..... Daddy, this water is cold. Why we standing here? Don't you know it's November? Isn't there a heated pool somewhere we could be swimming in? Lounging on the beach. Mama dug me a little hole to sit in. What a nice lady she is. I do need to ask why there is chalk on beach. Mama, do you expect me to draw with chalk on beach? Beach is soft medium. Chalk require hard medium such as chalkboard or concrete or Sarah Palin's head. Word. I don't know Mommy. This doesn't look like ocean view to me. look mo

Ahhh, Balmy November days at the Beach

Mama. Why we at the beach in November? Not supposed to be wearing fleece at the beach. Supposed to wear speedo or nana hammock, not fleece. You people drive me to drink..... Well, as long as I can dig in sand, is not all a waste. Why it 60 degrees in November? Isn't it supposed to be cold? Not that I really complaining, mind you, just wondering. Shells make good shovels. Sand is good. Sandals are good too. Cold November water is not good, but beach in November is surprisingly good. Obligatory sun on waves photo. This was the view from our hotel room. If we looked to the left past the other buildings. Ocean view my patootie. I love beach. I beachcomber.
