Ok, Here is me realizing that I haven't put any pictures of the most important person in my life on this here blog. This is Austyn, my green haired sweetheart. She's almost 9. I can't stand it. To our right (I think) is her being devoured by her cousin Olivia, who by the by just turned one! Yay Olivia! Now stop eating your cousin! This is her with Green hair obviously. Can you guess what holiday it was? Yes, Columbus Day! Next we have Austyn cheering for God and getting ready to go tubing with her other (girl) cousin Neva. She has a boy cousin Danny, but i wasn't able to attach any pictures of him yet. Come on, I have to have something to add tomorrow, right? Next we have my cutie on the tubes in good old Fayetteville. I don't remember the name of the place, but it's got to be the smallest ski area in the world. Go New York! Anyway, that's all for now. Gotta go make some dinner for my baby.

OK, I don't know where any of these are going to be on the page, but here they are. The drawing is by Mel Bend who had a comic in Transworld Skateboarding for several seasons. I just always liked his stuff and his style. That is what i always wanted to look like when I was skating. Of course never really being able to Ollie didn't help. I still drive everywhere with one eye on the lookout for skateable ditches and banks. I actually found a really nice one in Germantown. I just have to sweep it and it will be a fun place to get hurt. Pictures will follow. The sideways photo is of me in the Blue Ridge mountains. Mary's Peak to be precise. It would probably be a really nice view if it wasn't so foggy. We took this one and the one of both of us after we went to Tom Klotz's wedding. I was so skinny then. compare that with the one of me by the tree in Zion or the Tsali group picture. Gotta cut out all the cheese. Too much Gorganzola. I like the real runn

Ok, so here is some stuff i love. Mountain biking is one of the things i love to do. I recently was married to the wonderful girl you see in the slot canyon picture below (Kimberley, I love you!!). For my Bachelor party the boys and I (from the left, Taylor, Me, Dan and Orinthal) went to TSALI in Western NC to do some amazing biking. Was it amazing because we did it and no one got hurt (well, Taylor did get a boo boo), or because of the scenery and kick ass trails? You be the judge. Above are my current bike, the Giant AC air lite, which i cobbled together completely from Ebay, and the current object of my lust, the Santa Cruz Blur (although i would prefer the anodized orange frame). Anybody have a spare 3 grand i could have? the frame alone is 1600. Of course, I could swap most of the parts from the Giant onto the new frame...... Oh, Hi Kim, no, i was just thinking out loud. I would never charge a 1600 dollar frame with our joint credit card. Trust me.

I didn't really mean to post that second one of Checkerboard Mesa, but there you go. It's Checkerboard Mesa people. the other one is me with a gnarly old tree. So, now that i have figured this blog thing out, i will put some pictures of our trip on for people to see and i can pontificate and pretend people really care about what i have to say. Later
