Blueberries for Bryce

I sure hope all watching this have read the book Blueberries for Sal to their children or spouse. Fantastic book. Plink, Plink, Plink. No bears on this trip though. Bummer.
When we were kids, there was a blueberry patch just down the street from the Cabin that we would go to and it was always something that Alisa, Jen and I all looked forward to every summer. So I took Bryce , Austyn and Austyn's friend Allie with us to Butler's Orchard. They had English peas, tart cherries and Blueberries. We went with the Blueberries. As you can see, The Boy loved it. He didn't really know what we were doing at first, but he really loved the tractor ride to the field and when he realized all he had to do was grunt at me and i would hand him a fresh, fat blueberry, he was in heaven. Lots of blue poop was in our future.

Austyn follows in Dad's footprints, but where's the speedo?

No clue why it's sideways, but here is one of the highlights of Austyn's swim season. A first place in the 50 Free, which is what her dad used to swim in High School back at old Wheatland Chili Central, home of the Scotsmen. Go team! Rah Rah. I never was good a the cheering. That was Auntie Jen's game. I hope you don't get a kink in your neck from watching it. Enjoy. And yes, She did come in first!

What is that boy doing? AFHV here we come!

We apologize to all friends and family for not posting any vacation photos yet. We've been back at school for two weeks or so and by the time we get back, deal with Cheerleading practices, get dinner for two ravenous kids and get said kids to bed, We're just pooped and haven't had any energy for any blogging. Life in the new millennium I suppose. Boo Hoo Hoo, we are too tired to blog...... Plus, the boy is just too fast. we can't seem to get the camera out quick enough when he's doing cute stuff. And Austyn is busy being little miss popularity. She's never here and when she is she's on the computer IMing people. Anywhoo , we did manage to catch the boy doing something cute. Stay with it. it gets good at the end. the camera actually ran out of batteries or you could have seen and heard more. It's his favorite new game.
