Loon Mountain Day 2


Day two was much prettier weather wise than day one. Unfortunately it had rained overnight and what had been nice packed powder was a sheet of ice. We felt like we were skiing at our home mountain at Whitetail. By afternoon it had softened up and we still had fun.

This is a view from the chairlift that took us to the other side of the mountain.

Here is a beautiful frozen mountain lake that we could see from the summit

No moose were spotted on this trip. We were really bummed.

No clue why it's sideways, but here is one of the highlights of Austyn's swim season. A first place in the 50 Free, which is what her dad used to swim in High School back at old Wheatland Chili Central, home of the Scotsmen. Go team! Rah Rah. I never was good a the cheering. That was Auntie Jen's game. I hope you don't get a kink in your neck from watching it. Enjoy. And yes, She did come in first!
