There's a spider on ma boat!!!!!

So, i'm leisurely paddling down the canals behind Dick and Joy's house on the kayak, and lo and behold i had a stowaway! This sucker was huge. Pictures don't do it justice. Bryce could have rode on it. and it was sitting by my leg the whole time and I never knew it until about half way home. It may have dropped out of a tree though. Thank god it fell in the boat and not on me. I would have abandoned ship i think. The canals are only like 4 foot at the deepest i think, but i woulda been walking home.
Look at the size of that thing. It's like a dinner plate!
Here's GrandDaddy Hood. He was reading a technical manual to Bryce, I think.

A first place in the 50 Free, which is what her dad used to swim in High School back at old Wheatland Chili Central, home of the Scotsmen. Go team! Rah Rah. I never was good a the cheering. What is that boy doing? AFHV here we come!

We apologize to all friends and family for not posting any vacation photos yet. We've been back at school for two weeks or so and by the time we get back, deal with Cheerleading practices, get dinner for two ravenous kids and get said kids to bed, We're just pooped and haven't had any energy for any blogging. Life in the new millennium I suppose. Boo Hoo Hoo, we are too tired to blog...... Plus, the boy is just too fast. we can't seem to get the camera out quick enough when he's doing cute stuff. And Austyn is busy being little miss popularity. She's never here and when she is she's on the computer IMing people. Anywhoo , we did manage to catch the boy doing something cute. Stay with it. it gets good at the end. the camera actually ran out of batteries or you could have seen and heard more. It's his favorite new game.
